Custom cars & street rods in the USA.
The largest meet of pre-1949 rat rods, hotrods, classics and customs.
Over 14,000 rods were expected at this enormous Street Rod meeting, held in Louisville, Kentucky. Shown on this page is just a small selection of the custom cars, street & hot rods, and retro rat rods that were at this meeting.
A big thanks to Gary, who took the photos shown here (and ok'd them being featured here), and DM for emailing them over to me - thanks fellas. Also see: hot rod books.

The pictures above are just a small sample of the huge turnout of rods, customs and project cars that made it to the show in Kentucky, organised by the NSRA (National Street Rod Association). The weather looks like it was very mixed on the day that Gary went along, with heavy rain dampening things at one point. You can read more about the NSRA on their website.
For more photographs showing old cars at shows, please see the main Car show photos page.
