Classic Austin 8cwt van.
Virtually a Morris Minor but in this instance badged as an Austin and fitted with the wavy Austin grille. This one was in the concours competition at Tatton. Note the correct plain hubcaps and painted door frames of the commercial variant. Commercial vehicle bonnets didnt have the flying M or side mouldings leading on from those on the doors.
Austin Books Whether for the 8cwt van as shown below, or any other type of Austin, it is worth having a look on Amazon for books, DVDs, Videos etc.

8cwt van on display at Tatton Park, Cheshire.
If you have any more info or restoration stories about this particular 8cwt van, or 8cwt vans in general, I'd really like to feature it on oldclassiccar.
I took all these photos at the classic & vintage show held at Tatton Park, in June 2005. The Austin shown above was one of several hundred vehicles held in the grounds of this National Trust property.
