Bedford D3 Horsebox.
This Bedford has been restored in the last few years and looked great driving slowly around the streets of Sandbach. Power comes from a 330 Bedford diesel engine. It was built in 1958.

Restored & preserved vehicles at Sandbach Festival of Transport.
Photographed here is a preserved Bedford D3 Horsebox that took part in the vintage vehicle event held in Sandbach. Mid way through the day, there was a run around the streets of this Cheshire town, and many vehicles took part. Some boiled up on this hot sunny day, but most completed the journey without a problem.
