The Rally Of The Tests historic car rally held in November 2005
Notes on this classic Lotus Elan S3 seen on 13th Nov 2005.
The S3 here was produced at Chapman's factory in 1966 and is fitted with knock-on Minilite wheels.
This picture, of an early Elan S3, is photo number 14 of 95 images that I've put up on the site showing the historic rally cars that took part in this event in 2005. Please go to the main Rally Of The Tests photos page to see the other 94 photos! All were taken during a mid-morning stop-over between competitive stages during the rally on Sunday 13th November. The venue was the former secret nuclear bunker at Hack Green, near Nantwich in Cheshire.
