The Rally Of The Tests historic car rally held in November 2005
Notes on this classic Austin Healey Sprite seen on 13th Nov 2005.
The Mk1 Sprite seen here powering away from the stop-over point is fitted with a non-standard bonnet assemble - it reminds me of the Sprinzel racers from the early 1960s. The car is from 1959.
This picture, of an early Sprite, is photo number 56 of 95 images that I've put up on the site showing the historic rally cars that took part in this event in 2005. Please go to the main Rally Of The Tests photos page to see the other 94 photos! All were taken during a mid-morning stop-over between competitive stages during the rally on Sunday 13th November. The venue was the former secret nuclear bunker at Hack Green, near Nantwich in Cheshire.
