Triumph TR7 Photo.
There were howls of indignation when the fixed head TR7 came out in the 70s to replace the TR6 convertible. US safety legislation was largely responsible. Power came from the 1850 Dolomite engine. A convertible version of the TR7 did come out late in the model's life. A limited run of V8s known as the TR8 were also built.
