Leyland Comet picture.

The majority of Comets were bodied as trucks and appear at shows quite often. This unusual coach is based on the Comet chassis and is in regular use. Note the Old Age Travellers sign in the far windscreen. Just behind is a Bedford Ambulance.

All the photos in this section were taken at Astle Park in 2005, on what was a very very rainy day! The Leyland shown above got a real drenching - top marks to the owners of all the old vehicles on show, I'm sure they'd rather their prized vehicles were tucked away out of the inclement weather. Despite the efforts of mother nature, the Comet looked really well and is a credit to its owner.
