Austin A40 Devon pickup picture.

Seeing this cracking little A40 at various shows over the years prompted me to buy my own example in 2006. This is a 1952 example of the popular little Devon commercial - my pickup is slightly later being a 1954 model.

All the photos in this section were taken at Astle Park in 2005, on what was a very very rainy day! The Austin shown above got a real drenching - top marks to the owners of all the old vehicles on show, I'm sure they'd rather their prized vehicles were tucked away out of the inclement weather. Despite the efforts of mother nature, the A40 Devon pickup looked really well and is a credit to its owner.
