Humber Super Snipe.

Colin, Chairman of the Woodie Car Club, kindly sent over this photograph of a pre-war Humber Super Snipe. This is one of several possibly unique vehicles he's keen to receive news about. The Humber started out in life during the 1930s and, following the war, was purchased at a military disposal auction. It went on to be re-bodied as a woodie / shooting brake. But does it survive? Is this Super Snipe sat in a barn somewhere, awaiting rescue? I'll pass on any news that turns up.

In the background I can just make out a tantalising line-up of early petrol pumps, plus a diamond-shaped Goodyear tyres sign, another for Carpol, and what looks to be either a wall-mounted tyre pressure gauge/inflator, or a thermometer.
